The DFS Inline Sample Chamber

The DFS Inline Sample Chamber is a safe, easy method for collecting samples from high purity chemical systems while minimizing any additional contamination from human or atmospheric exposure with a flow-through design, isolation needle valves, and flare connection points. Typical sample bottles require the operator to open, rinse, fill and cap the sample bottle, exposing the sample to several contamination sources. The DFS Inline Sample Chamber can be placed in-line, briefly ran to drain and set up to have a continuous flow, returning to the tank or drum for an “always-ready” sample chamber. The chamber can then can be easily removed by shutting the valves, capping the connections and transporting to the analytical lab. Once the chamber is at the lab or controlled environment the technician can remove the caps, connect and pull a sample.

DFS Inline Sample Chamber standard features:

  • All wetted parts are PFA
  • All-welded construction
  • Needle valves for regulating, dispensing, & isolating flow through the chamber's 100ml volume, minimizing waste while still allowing enough sample volume for multiple analytical tests

DFS Inline Sample Chamber optional features:

  • Connection points can be Flaretek®, Pillar®, or compression
  • Different size sample chambers for customer specific volumes
  • Valve manifold for diverting sample flows to drain, tank, or drum
  • Snap bracket assembly for holding the chamber in place in the chemical system
  • Chamber carriers for safe transportation to the analytical lab or storage
  • Chemical labeling for proper identification and safety

Materials of Construction:

  • Chamber wetted parts are PFA, or PTFE
  • Non Wetted parts are PFA, ETFE, and PVDF

Operating Parameters:

  • Maximum pressure 100 PSIG @ 72ºF

Advantages of the DFS Inline Sample Chamber

  • Analytical costs can be reduced due to consistent samples that build confidence in results and reduce costly re-sampling
  • All PFA-welded construction for long term use, chemical compatibility, minimized entrapment areas, reliable sample results and minimized introduction of any outside contamination
  • Inline sample chamber has a large install base making it a time proven design and system
